The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Non-Profit Organization entity number for Cadets Again is: 3263891. Donations can be made to: Cadets Again, Mr. Charlie Shingle, Treasurer, c/o The Computer Shop, E. High Street, Ebensburg, PA 15931. 501(c)3 status has been applied for and is pending.

We are still seeking E-mail Addresses!

We are attempting to gather as many E-mail addresses and regular addresses of former members as possible so that we can share this information with them. If you have brothers, sisters, friends, etc. addresses that you can send us, please do. Send to: John Blair - jtjblair@aol.com    We currently have more than 200 former Cadet members who have shared their e-mail addresses so that we can keep them up-to-date on recent happenings.
 

Future Cambria Cadets Reunion Plans!

One of the things that has become abundantly clear from our contacts is that 99% of you would like to have another reunion scheduled.  If it occurs, it would necessarily have to be in the summer of 2006.   Perhaps it could be linked to some other local events, which would be synergistic. We are thinking it's a great idea and propose that it be linked with a local parade (if possible) and a DCA or DCI field contest. 

The field contest would accomplish four things:
1. provide the centerpiece for the reunion activities;
2. bring in additional people for the other activities;
3. re-establish a drum corps field contest for the Ebensburg area; and,
4. provide an income stream for the Alumni Association, Cadets Again, and scholarships for students.

Accomplishing this task would take a great deal of participation from volunteers.  If you'd like to be a part of that planning and execution, please let Vicki Bertolino know and we'll make certain you get plugged into the process.   You can contact Vicki by e-mailing her care of davehuber@verizon.net - Attn: Vicki Bertolino.
